Customer Service Associate Intern (May-Aug 2026)

As a Customer Service Associate your responsibilities will focus primarily on administrative support of the Account Managers and Project Management Departments through working cross-functionally within Enercon.

In the role of Customer Service Associate:

  • You will support the Account Management department with cost estimating, order entry, customer change orders, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and product shipment releases.

  • You will develop quotation models for new product opportunities.

  • You will maintain team quote status/schedules to support customer commitments.

  • You will monitor customer inventory levels and provide direct fulfillment to maintain contractual inventory limits at customer facilities.

  • You will update and coordinate order status, delivery schedules, etc. with internal Operations Team.

  • You will provide customer service on order status, deliveries, reverse logistics to the customers.

  • You will support project management department projects with cost tracking, phase gate scheduling, phase gate data collection.

  • You will work with engineering to enter customer documentation and updates. This requires creating engineering change requests and job deviations.

  • You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, materials, engineering to support Enercon and PM department needs.

  • You will process order/load management in ERP while being overseen by an experienced Account Manager.


The skills you need to succeed:

  • You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities supporting department needs.

  • You must have the ability to work in a technical discipline and learn quickly

  • You must have the ability to work with internal and external customers

  • You must be proficient in the use of MS Office products, ERP & PLM systems.

  • You must have good independent work ethic.

  • You must be well organized.

  • You must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.


Education and experience of a successful candidate:

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.

  • Previous customer service experience and administrative experience is a plus.
