As a Facilities Systems Engineering Intern, you will provide technical and maintenance support to the Facilities Department and the Manufacturing Department. The Facilities Systems Engineering Intern will strive for the continuous improvement of all Enercon facilities with a goal of maintaining the quality, reliability and appearance of the facility and its systems.

In the role of Facilities Systems Engineering Intern:

• You will support Preventative Maintenance and repair activities of facility equipment, building, and controls


• You will use and adjust building automation systems (BA) to monitor, debug, and improve the facilities.


• You will support the operation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enhance the asset and work order management.


• In conjunction with the Facilities Manager, you will oversee contractor work at various Enercon Facilities.


• You will actively look for and improve Safety and Ergonomics in the workplace.


• You will perform other facilities-related duties as directed by management.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• You must have hands-on practical problem solving and test experience.


• You must possess strong computer skills to include all Microsoft Office suite and Adobe, CAD skills preferred.


• You must possess good interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.


• You must be self-motivated with a strong initiative to seek opportunities to contribute and learn.


• You must have strong organizational skills.


• You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.


• You must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience Required:

• Declared Engineering major with a minimum of 2 years completed course work.


• GPA: 3.0 minimum
