Soldering Specialist

As a Soldering Specialist for the organization, your primary role is to solder printed circuit boards (PCBs) using both through hole and surface mount technology (SMT).

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:45PM 

The skills you need to succeed:

  • You must pass a pre-employment vision exam (all candidates must be able to accurately distinguish colors used to identify electronic components, indicators, and markings).
  • You must pass a dexterity test among others at discretion of employer.
  • You must have excellent dexterity and the ability to handle small components.
  • You must have familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
  • You must have basic computer skills and the ability to read work instructions.
  • You must have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • You must have good organizational skills.

Education & experience of a successful candidate:

  • High School or equivalent
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus
  • 1-2 years of related work experience.
