Manufacturing Technician – ERSA Repair Programmer/Technician/Operator

This role is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on the programming, operation, and optimization of ERSA repair and rework equipment within a high-mix electronics manufacturing environment. The ERSA Repair Programmer/Technician/Operator serves as the primary expert and first point of contact for ERSA equipment performance, repair processes, and line-down troubleshooting related to rework operations.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:45PM

The skills you need to succeed:

  • You must pass a pre-employment vision exam (all candidates must be able to accurately distinguish colors used to identify electronic components, indicators, and markings).
  • You must pass a dexterity test among others at discretion of employer.
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing; strong understanding of electronics.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Ability to work self-directed.
  • Team player.

  • Excellent organization and decision-making skills.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to continuously find and deliver productivity

Education & experience of a successful candidate:

  • 2-year college degree in electronics or related field plus a minimum of 4 years direct experience, or 8+ years of direct experience in equivalent role.
  • Trained in implementing lean manufacturing practices and /or trained in Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMD) machinery/equipment is strongly preferred.
