As an Embedded Firmware Engineering Intern, you will assist Senior Engineers in the design, test and development of firmware and/or software used in the production of new products or product improvements for Enercon and its customers.

In the role of Embedded Firmware Engineering Intern:

  • You will support the design and development of embedded software for new electronic products ranging from simple microcontroller-based solutions to highly complex embedded processing systems.
  • You will assist in the development of software specifications based on requirements and collaborate with others to identify risk areas and evaluate possible alternatives or potential improvements.
  • You will document ideas, designs, specifications, and instructions to Enercon’s standards.
  • You will perform other engineering tasks as directed by management and Sr. Engineers.

The skills you need to succeed:

  • You do not need experience in product development.
  • You must have hands-on practical problem solving and test experience.
  • You must possess good interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
  • You must be self-motivated with a strong initiative to seek opportunities to contribute and learn.
  • You must have strong organizational skills.
  • You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Declared Engineering major with a minimum of 2 years completed course work.
  • GPA: 3.0 minimum
